QARs

The following information is to be used when performing quality assessment reviews (QARs) (peer reviews).  Some HASDIA members are interested in performing and receiving QARs as a way to improve their audit shops and to help others do the same.  These reviews will also assist your Board in assessing the performance of Internal Audit in your organization.  To ensure objectivity, a reviewing organization will not receive their review from the same organization that they reviewed.

The following information is based on the current International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as of January 1, 2009.  The following documents have been updated as of October 1, 2009.
